Lauren & Paul

Two wonderfully kind souls got married, and not only were we fortunate enough to photograph their day, but we also get to call them our friends. Lauren is Rachel’s dear friend from college at the University of Minnesota where they played in a worship band together as stringed-instrument soul sisters, and quickly bonded over a love for cooking and anything from Anthropologie.

If you know us at all, you know how we feel about charcuterie boards. We could happily live off of bread, cheese, and cured meats. This wedding had them in spades, and was easily one of our favorite wedding meals of the season! And of course, all you fans of “The Princess Bride” can eat your hearts out over that cake display table.

A clear family value for Lauren and Paul? Dancing. Like, really dancing. As Lauren so kindly mentioned to their guests before the dance floor opened up, “Everyone can actually dance”. As evidenced by the photos, these two go hard on the dance floor. Add it to the list of reasons we’re thankful to have their friendship.

Lauren and Paul were married on a particularly beautiful autumn day filled with live bluegrass music by the High 48’s, fresh pressed cider from the orchard surrounding them, and an overwhelming degree of love for one another. We were so very honored to witness such an incredible day in the life of our friends.
